Most of our business clients are shops and small offices along York Road and the towns around it. The work is practical: forming an LLC, writing down what partners agreed when they shook hands, reading a commercial lease before it's signed.
A partner agreement is the one we push hardest. It settles in advance what happens if one owner wants out, gets sick or dies, which is far cheaper than settling it afterward.
When it's time to pass the business on, we work with your accountant so the sale or gift fits your own estate plan.
